Back in the Driver’s Seat

So finally, after a little less than a month, I started driving again officially yesterday. We got a rental car, an ’07 Chevy Cobalt (which I’m in love with now), and so I’m back on the road. Actually I feel back to normal driving again, not a whole lot of leftover nervousness about driving myself. I’m still freaked while riding in a car with someone else, but now that I’ve got wheels of my own (relatively) it’s not as big of a deal.

Charlie and I had our one year anniversary on Sunday, though due to school, my lack of transportation, and family obligations (which sucks). We plan on doing something soon though. We also plan on getting each other a gift that we’ve picked ou, but that will also have to wait (Christmas gifts are more expensive when you grow up and you parents no longer just buy stuff for other people on your behalf).

I went and picked Charlie up from his house today and we went to the Galleria so I could start my Christmas shopping. I haven’t had a lot of chance to see hime recently due to all this accident crap so it was pretty much amazing to see him and spend time with him. Later we met up with Steph and Kacey and went to see the new Van Wilder movie, which was suprisingly good. Then I dropped everyone off and drove on home. I NEED to work out somewhere and some time to spend a good amount of alone time with Charlie. Just to lay around and cuddle up and be close. God knows we need it.

Anyway it’s way late and I need some sleep. Though I’m probably going to end up playing World of Warcraft before I go to sleep. Oh well. Ob la di, and all that.

Nature HATES me!

So yea mother nature wants me to die. I came out to my car after school and stupid me, I apparently parked where fuckin BIG BIRD takes a dump every day, i have bird crap all down the passenger window and door of my car. Seriously. Teena didnt want to open the door cuz its all over the handle. Its gross.

And to add injury and insult to bird shit, when we were stuck in traffic, something flies in my window and i feel somehting on my forehead, so i start freaking out and slapping at it, and it was a god damn bee. I didn’t slap it away before it stung me right in the middle of my forehead unfortunately. I then proceeded to beat it with Teena’s purse (which she didnt like lol). I made this “Mwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa” whining noise for like a full minute before teena started laughing at me. It fuckin hurt!! I raged about nature the whole way home. I had the RIGHT to be a diva about it.

Why are these Fun Size Snickers so yummy? Is it their fun size? I dont get that either, whats so fun about a candy bar thats so small? I think it would be more fun to have a really big candy bar, but that would be fattening.

I really love the rain. I really do love the wind. But I didnt like how they mixed today. I was nice and warm in my Old Navy jacket, and then suddenly..

I am freezing and my neck is wet. Grr. Oh well, the day was pretty good otherwise. I kinda decided against getting fish, at least for the moment. A few reasons:

1. I dont have money for fish, the bowl, and all the supplies.
2. I dont have the space for the bowl.
3. I dont have time to clean them.
4. Theyre boring.

So ya. No fishies for me. Oh well, I will survive! School was ok, not too much to talk about, cept for ppl CONTINUOUSLY TAILGATING ME ON THE WAY HOME! Jana and hot men are the only people allowed to ride my ass. (hehe Jana, Teena, Christy, Hannah, u kno what Im talkin about! =P) They were neither. I was soooooooo pissed off, I flipped em off and they finally backed off. But ya. My day was borrrrrrrringgggggg.

Oooo! Almost forgot! My boss called me today and told me that since I requested the day off on Saturday so that I could attend my Winter Ball, I could go! YAY! Im excited! Now I just gotta check to see if Kat still wants to/can go and then what color shirt to wear. Woop woop!

I dont really feel like writing in this right now but Im bored so I will. Not TOO much goin on. Well actually, I have liek a massive update to take care of considering my last post was before christmas. I wont go that far back in detail tho.

Umm well since then I got my driver’s licence!!! Woo I’m mobile again baby! School’s back and goin pretty good. Im keepin up with all my stuff pretty well so far, tho I lost my math book! =X Yes, Erin, I had it that one day lol But I cant find it now. Urg. So ya. But besides that I got all my homework done that was given to me today, even tho most of it wasnt due for a few days.

In other news, Russ and I are on a break. I suggested we move back to “just friends” before we move any farther as to get to know each otehr in a more casual setting rather than the intimate setting. We moved really quickly into the relationship, leading to trust issues. So now we can actually get to know each other and decide if we’re compatible enough for a relationship, or if we should just stay good friends.

Blah. Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I cant think of anything else and Im tired so bye.

Poop. Russ’ concert for orchestra was tonight and I didn’t get to go. No one wanted to drive me (understandable, Cordova isnt close) plus I had uber studying to do for my english and chem finals tomorrow. Im just sad that I didnt get to see him play. Oh well, theres always Spring Concert!

Finals start tomorrow. *DRAMATIC FANFARE!* DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNNN! Meh English might be challenging but Chem should be a breeze for me. Im gonna be totally ready with my Inflatable Pen, gel pens (for notes afterward of course!), a pencil, and my CD player! Oh yea, gotta have teh tunes! I get to sleep in tomorrow for a little too since I dont Have to go to 1st period. Its niiiiice! I read all the SparkNotes on Huck Finn so Im prepped for English and I made my 3X5 card and read thru my notebook for chem. Woo hoo!

Meh. I miss my Russ! I wish we could see each other more, but its understandable considering he doesnt exactly live within walking distance. Luckily I go to take my test for my Drivers Licence on the 30th, provided my grades are good enough. *crosses fingers* Only thing standing in my way is my D in math, and it should totally be a C or a B after I do well on the math final *re-crosses fingers*. I go for my last hour of driving school tomorrow where they take you through the test course and basically do the test, grading and everything. Im kinda nervous, but It’d be nice if they let me drive my car, considering thats what im driving for the actual test. The car they use at my driving school is MEH, the acceleration is like you have to press the pedal halfway down to make it go anything resebling a decent speed, but anything past that its like VROOOOM!! Almost made me crash the first lesson. =/

Oh well, my hands feel like theyre gonna fall off! Tootles!
